Cafe Deli Margaux is a café and deli at 39–41 Town Street, Farsley, run by Samantha and James McConnell, who are both from Farsley. The company behind it, Cafe Deli Margaux Limited, was incorporated on 18 May 2021. By day it serves café and deli food — bagels, sandwiches and coffee — and it is known locally for Sunday lunches. Dale Spink joined as head chef in January 2024, having worked at La Rue in Saltaire and at Oulton Hall, and having been chef patron of a Horsforth restaurant where he first met the McConnells. Under him the kitchen has run monthly five-course themed tasting menus covering Asian, Yorkshire and Greek cooking. It reports winning Best Brunch at the Yorkshire Evening Post's Oliver Awards in 2024.

Fifty-Eight Giardino is an Italian restaurant and bar at 10 Town Street, Farsley. It trades as Fifty Eight Giardino Ltd, incorporated on 18 April 2025 and registered at the same Town Street address, with Ezgi Yalcinkaya as its current director. The kitchen works to hand-rolled pasta and wood-fired pizza, and the restaurant says its head chef trained in traditional trattorias and osterias in Tuscany and Rome. Jackaboos is an indoor soft play centre at Sunny Bank Mills on Town Street, Farsley — the former woollen mill, founded in 1829, where production of fine worsted cloth ended in 2008 and which the Gaunt family has since regenerated as space for independent businesses, artist studios and galleries. Angelisa Walker has been its director since the company was incorporated on 1 July 2005, and the centre says it was set up in June 2006 and named after her son Jack. It runs pre-bookable play sessions on weekdays and private birthday parties at weekends, and says it holds a five-star food hygiene rating. METZ Cheesemonger is an independent cheese shop in the Sandsgate building at Sunny Bank Mills, the former worsted mill on Town Street, Farsley, with a shopfront visible from the road. It was opened in November 2024 by Emmanuelle Metz, who is from Paris and had spent more than a decade selling cheese in Yorkshire and France; Aurelie Charles is her fellow director. The counter is stocked with handmade artisan cheese rather than mass-produced, with several varieties matured in-house — among them a stout-washed rind brie, which took the People's Choice award at the Academy of Cheese Affineur of the Year. It reports also winning Best Display Champion and gold awards for cheeseboard and grazing board at the Great Yorkshire Show, and it runs cheese nights with neighbouring Amity Brew Co.

Pardon Me is a record bar at Sunny Bank Mills on Town Street, Farsley — the former woollen mill, founded in 1829, where worsted production ended in 2008 and which is now let to independent businesses, studios and galleries. It was opened in 2026 by Scott Rapson and Laurie Sealeaf, who spent three years visiting listening bars in Athens, Paris, Berlin and Lisbon before starting it. It serves cocktails, natural wines, organic beers and coffee, and is built around a high-fidelity sound system using Danley speakers, with a vinyl collection on the walls and playlists running through hip hop, soul, jazz, funk, deep house and disco. Rapson, who has been DJing for 36 years, describes the model as the Japanese jazz kissa, and the name as a joke about how often he swears.

Saint Jude is a bar and kitchen at 69 Town Street, Farsley. It was opened in September 2021 by sisters Alex and Cassie Rogerson, who are from Farsley and who had already opened Grumpy's pizzeria at Sunny Bank Mills four years earlier; the two businesses are named after their father and their mother. It serves beer, wine, cocktails and coffee alongside homemade burgers, bagels and doughnuts, with the burger patties, condiments and jams made in the kitchen and the bagels baked each morning in Grumpy's wood-fired oven. There are 36 covers inside and 52 outside across a terrace and side garden. It opens from 9am every day, and describes itself as dog friendly and kid friendly.

Truman Books is an independent bookshop and café at 95 Town Street, Farsley, opened in spring 2021 by Amanda Truman, who left a twenty-year career in the travel industry to start it. The company was incorporated in September 2020 and she is its sole director. It stocks new releases, older titles and children's books alongside gifts, cards and wrapping paper, orders in books for next-day collection, and serves coffee and homemade cake. Beyond the shelves it runs a storytime session, a book club and a Young Readers' Review Panel. In 2026 the Booksellers Association named it one of twenty Bookshop Champions for Independent Bookshop Week, which that year marked twenty years of the campaign.
