Geo Middlemiss And Son is a butcher at 3 Market Street in Otley. The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that John Middlemiss established it in 1881 and that five generations of the family have run it, with Peter Middlemiss working alongside his father Tony and brother Martin. The paper says it took the Supreme Pork Pie Champion title at the Great Yorkshire Pork Pie and Sausage competition in October 2017, using a recipe that dates back to the 1960s. It was rated 5, very good, at its last food hygiene inspection in February 2025.
