The Butlers and The Boundary are two adjacent guest houses run together at 40-42 Cardigan Road, Headingley, and registered with Leeds City Council''s food safety team under the single name Butler and Boundary Hotel. Both occupy three-storey Edwardian houses built in the early 1900s and look out over the Headingley Stadium complex — the cricket ground and the rugby stadium — about two miles from Leeds city centre. The Butlers'' own site names Mark Lowther as the person running it.
Rooms are decorated in a Victorian and Edwardian style in keeping with the buildings, with a mix of en-suite and shared bathrooms; the Boundary is listed as having 21. Both have a lounge bar, take dogs, and serve a cooked breakfast at £7 per person when booked on arrival. The Butlers also has a meeting room seating up to 20, and parking is free.
