Brown's Greens Cafe and Bar Limited was incorporated in March 2023 and is registered at the premises under the classification for licensed restaurants; Colin Bunn, Katherine Elgar and Jocelyn Ivory are its three directors, each holding between a quarter and a half of the shares. The menu is entirely vegetarian, with vegan options, and the business is fully licensed, serving wine, beer and spirits through the day alongside the food. It says locally sourced produce "ensures the continuing support of our community and small businesses". It also does takeaways, outside catering and private functions, and opens Tuesday to Sunday, closing on Mondays.

The kitchen is built around breakfast and brunch: hashes, full vegetarian breakfasts, eggs Florentine and American pancakes, with coffee and juices alongside. It opens from morning to mid-afternoon Monday to Saturday and closes on Sundays. Leeds City Council awarded the premises the top food hygiene rating of 5 at its inspection in September 2024. Yorkshire.com's listing notes that the café does not currently have a wheelchair-accessible entrance or seating.
