The company behind it was incorporated in May 1997 and took the Canton Flavour name that August; Ting Fai Cheung has been a director since 2000 and Jian Feng Chen since 2019, with Po Shan Williams as company secretary. Companies House records its activity as a take-away food shop. The shop is collection only. The menu runs from soups, spring rolls and spare ribs through mild and spicy mains, aromatic duck, chow mein and noodle dishes and rice, to set value dinners and banquets, with a section of Thai dishes alongside the Chinese ones. It opens in the late afternoon and evening every day except Wednesday.

Rolls come in full and mini sizes, in sweet flavours including pistachio, caramel and Biscoff alongside a plain version, and in savoury forms such as harissa with cheese and olives. Coffee, iced drinks and smoothies are served with them. Local coverage reports that the owners ran a home baking business for two years before taking the shop, and that orders are taken in person or ahead through Instagram rather than through the delivery apps.
