According to the Jewish Chronicle, it opened in September 2025 as the first kosher chippie in Leeds in 50 years, founded by Jenade Yamin and Arabaab Munir, two Bradford entrepreneurs. The paper reports that the fish and chips are prepared using Yorkshire methods such as beef dripping, with separate designated fryers, disposable plastic cutlery and a full-time kosher supervisor. It was rated 5, very good, at its last food hygiene inspection in November 2025.
