Correct or remove
Something wrong on a page here?
Tell us what it should say, or ask us to take the listing down. You don't need an account, and it doesn't cost anything.
Correct a fact
Anyone can do this — you don't have to run the business.
A wrong opening time, an address, a business that has closed: choose to correct a fact, pick the closest reason and tell us what it should say. We only ask for evidence when it's genuinely proportionate, and please don't include unnecessary personal information.
Ask us to take something down
A listing, or a tip, vouch, answer or fact that shouldn't be published.
Choose to have something taken down and tell us why. A person reviews it — asking is not the same as removing, and we won't pretend otherwise. You don't need to claim a page first, and you don't have to explain yourself beyond what we need to act on it.
What happens next
- Your request joins the same queue as everyone else's — there's no faster lane to buy — and you get a reference straight away.
- A person reads it. Our service target is seven days. If you give us a reply address, we tell you what we decided either way and how to appeal it. A correction isn't a guarantee that the information changes, and asking us to take something down isn't a guarantee of removal.
- If it's about your own personal data, we move it to the privacy route automatically — under the same reference, with the statutory acknowledgement clock. You can also start there directly at privacy request or complaint.
- Companies House and FSA records stay public at their own source — taking a page down here doesn't change them.
A complaint about our service has its own route. Anything about your own personal data — a copy of it, a correction, a deletion, or an objection — is faster through the privacy route.
